A Way Forward
Hey there! I am so glad you made it here. Seeking therapy is a huge step. My work with clients has taught me how powerful this professional relationship can be. You are unique and have a story that is only one you can tell. It is a privilege to be a part of that process.
A little more about me, I was born and raised in Bridgeport, Texas. My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and have on child. I’ve held a couple of careers prior to pursuing my master’s degree. For the past 11 years I have worked for the state government in various roles.
My undergraduate academic focus centered on psychology and human resources. I later earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University. Throughout practicum and internship, I quickly developed a passion for working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma/abuse, substance abuse, stress, lifestyle management, grief, loss, and phase of life transitions. I also treat couples with relationship issues involving communication, infidelity, and sexual dysfunction.
I believe healing begins not in fixing, but in facing—with courage, honesty, and compassion - the challenges that accompany life.
